With falls being the leading cause of brain injury, learn more about balance, coordination, and movement – all of which might be altered. Dr. Michael S. DeCriscio, DC, VRS

Dr. DeCriscio is a chiropractic physician and Board Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation with over 375 hours of additional training in mild traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. He is the founder and former owner of Allegany Chiropractic Center in Hagerstown, MD from 2002-2019 treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and working with local pain management and orthopedic physicians. In 2010, Dr. DeCriscio founded Center for Dizziness & Balance Disorders in Hagerstown, Maryland to focus solely on patients with vertigo, vestibular issues, and balance disorders. Due to its reputation for excellent patient outcomes, Center for Dizziness received referrals from medical professionals from an extensive radius with patients traveling from Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and throughout Maryland for treatment. Following its merger with Summit Health Hospital System, Dr. DeCriscio remained on staff from 2017-2020, training the physical therapists at Summit Health and providing consultation on vestibular rehabilitation and concussions.
