About Us

The Brain Injury Association of North Carolina is a statewide nonprofit striving to serve individuals living with brain injury, their families, and professionals.

Through training, support, outreach, events, awareness, and advocacy activities the Association reaches more than 40,000 people each year with both our online and in-person presence.

We work with a dedicated Staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers to work towards completing our Mission each year. BIANC is made up of individuals living with brain injury, family members, and advocates in a variety of capacities to make sure our efforts are person-centered and holistic-driven. These tenets that drive our work include education, support, awareness, and advocacy.
